Leadership crisis

The new world of work is demanding more from all of us. Our skills and competences need to be versatile, we need to be agile and adapt to the different challenges that both work and also life throws at us. The times of the cookie-cutter solutions are truly behind us, and navigating unprecedented change requires creative problem solving, adaptability and being mindful about finding the most appropriate answers to the given challenges. In particular Leaders at all levels may be faced with new challenges, that their previous experiences haven't equipped them for. Rising up in the ranks based on competence and expertise in a given area doesn't automatically prepare us for the challenges of leadership, for engaging and motivating employees.

7 archetypes within all of us

Throughout her coaching and consulting practice, Lolly Daskal worked with over 1000 individuals in over hundred organisations, and her clients were experiencing the same issues and challenges, no matter which company or what country they were from. Based on her experience and knowledge, the recognition of these universal patterns and the corresponding science and philosophy, Lolly distilled the essence of her work in the RETHINK system, an acronym which hints at the underlying philosophy of her work, but also stands for the initials of the 7 archetypes Lolly identified reside within all of us: the Rebel, the Explorer, the Truth-teller, the Hero, the Inventor, the Navigator and the Knight.

In our podcast Lolly kindly unpacks the Rebel for us. Beyond identifying these archetypes, Lolly also introduces us to the gap that exists between stepping into our Greatness in each archetype or sabotaging ourselves with self-doubt, arrogance or inaction and thus leading from the Gap.

I am sure, by listening to Lolly you will revisit a number of situations when you perhaps knew what needed to be done, but something happened, a hesitation, a thought and you chose a different, perhaps more comfortable, easier path.

From the Inside Out

The Leadership Gap book will help you with perhaps one of the most difficult aspects of development: turning inward and finding the strength and the answers from within. The more we accomplish, and we get the confirmation from the outside that our methods are working, the more difficult it gets to look inwards and be mindful about the gaps that exist between what we are, and what we could be, thinking that what has worked for us in the past will take us to the next level.

Do you have the kind of success you want? Do you have meaning and purpose in your life, and are you able to truly unleash your Greatness?

To help you with answering these questions, for a limited time you can access a complimentary assessment (which is otherwise 97 USD) on the website of the book, where you can also find out more about the RETHINK system and Lolly's work, as well as order your copies.
